Madeira

Our guide for you

Madeira = wood and means wood island.

With the smaller islands of Porto Santo, the uninhabited island groups Ilhas Desertas and Ilhas Selvagens, it forms an autonomous region.

The main island of Madeira is very well developed. The holiday regions and the capital Funchal are easy to reach via the coastal roads.

Madeira has about 240,000 inhabitants, living on an area of 801 km ² - about 57 km in length and about 23 km at the widest point. Here you still live with nature.

Madeira invites us to experience and enjoy sports activities in and with nature.

AlbanoAktiv offers hiking in different levels of difficulty as well as mountain biking from beginner to professional. But also paragliding as a tandem jump, swimming with dolphins or canyoning in Madeira gorges, as well as, sailing, Stand UP paddle, jeep safari or diving are also part of the local leisure offer and are provided by us. Experience Madeira from a bird's eye view on a scenic flight over the island. We also book and organize a day trip to the neighboring island of Porto Santo.
